The story book (3)

    It was the third story, named "The Fisherman And His Soul". It was written by Oscar Wilde.

Vocabulary:
1. ivory-[mass noun] / a hard creamy-white substance composing the main part of the tusks of an elephant, walrus, or narwhal, often (especially formerly) used to make ornaments and other articles.

2. glistened-verb / of something wet or greasy) shine with a sparkling light.

Good Sentences:

The Introduction:

   It was a story about a fisherman. We can say he was lucky and unfortunate too.One day, the fisherman met a mermaid when he was fishing. He was totaly felt in love with her. So, he tried everything he can and threw his soul away to live with the mermaid. But at the end, the soul became bad and took its revange with the fisherman.

Impression:

   I felt sorry with the fisherman in the story. But, i agree with the fisherman. We shall try our best to find our love just like him. If i am the fisherman, i will do the samething with him. I like the technique of the writer very much. The wrote of soul was really well. I like the description of the soul that response to the greedy of the humans. It was a nice story.
